Wabi-Sabi

Daily life is centred around a unified living space, where the lounge, dining area, and kitchen are visually connected while retaining their functional independence. The open layout allows unrestricted movement between zones, while variations in furniture, materials, and lighting subtly define each use.
In the living room, off-white surfaces and generously proportioned sofas create a bright, calm backdrop. The corner fireplace provides a fixed focal point, framed by earthy textures and timber surfaces. The staircase plays an active role in the composition: timber treads, slender metal elements, and vertical slatted cladding make circulation between floors an integral part of the interior.
The dining area occupies a central position between the lounge and kitchen. A large oval table encourages easy movement and serves as a gathering point, while chairs with woven surfaces add lightness and natural texture. Against the stone wall, vertical timber elements with curved ends create rhythm and depth, connecting the earthy character of the stone with the cleaner lines of the furniture.
The kitchen combines grey-green shades with dark timber. Light-coloured worktops brighten the composition, while the island provides additional workspace and forms a subtle boundary with the dining area.
Particular attention is given to lighting. Pendant fixtures distinguish the main zones, wall-mounted accents highlight vertical surfaces, and linear kitchen lighting emphasises the horizontal layout.
