Modern Serenity

Set within an apartment building dating from 1980, this interior unfolds as a sequence of bright, interconnected spaces, where different functions retain their identities while remaining closely linked. Generous openings framed in dark timber act as internal thresholds, guiding movement from the kitchen and dining area towards the living room and, beyond it, a second relaxation area.

The colour palette balances earthy browns, deep green, and crisp white. Decorative green tiles recur in the kitchen and living area, creating a bold yet cohesive visual reference. White cabinetry brightens the composition, while dark timber tables, frames, and details add depth and warmth. Continuous flooring with a mosaic appearance visually unifies the spaces, providing a neutral backdrop for the more expressive colour choices.

The dining area sits at the heart of everyday life, with an oval timber table and soft pink chairs tempering the precision of the white surfaces. In the living areas, low furniture, natural woven textures, textured rugs, and light-coloured fabrics create a relaxed, tranquil atmosphere.

Natural light filters through horizontal blinds, casting shifting lines of light and shadow throughout the day. Linear lighting fixtures, a woven pendant, and a ceiling fan serve as distinct design elements that differentiate the individual zones.

In the bathroom, a golden-yellow surface with a botanical motif takes centre stage.
