Soft Rustic

The high-ceilinged space forms the heart of the interior, allowing the living and dining areas to unfold as one bright space for everyday life. The kitchen occupies a distinct recess while remaining visually connected to the surrounding areas through a large opening and a timber counter that serves as both a serving ledge and an additional work surface.
An exposed brick wall provides the main focal point in the living room. Its strong material presence combines with the timber window surround, low cabinetry, and fireplace to bring the principal functions together without overwhelming the space. The grey tones of the fitted cabinetry recur in the kitchen and entrance storage, creating consistency throughout the interior.
The material palette balances warm timber surfaces, earthy flooring, brick, and dark accents. In the kitchen, grey cabinet fronts are paired with timber worktops and tiles in natural tones. Lighting beneath the wall cabinets highlights the tiles’ texture and improves everyday functionality. Woven panels in the low living room cabinet introduce a lighter, tactile detail.
The dining area sits at the centre of the composition, connecting the kitchen and living room. Glass pendant lights cast warm pools of light over the timber surfaces, while black linear fixtures follow the geometry of the space and accentuate its height. On the upper level, perforated timber screens provide discreet enclosure while preserving visual connections and the flow of light.
The overall approach combines the solidity of natural textures with the clean lines of grey cabinetry and neutral fabrics. The result is an interior with a distinctive identity, a well-organised layout, and a warm atmosphere, designed around everyday life in the home.
