Seaside Villa

The ground floor brings together the kitchen, dining area, and living room in a unified space. Three different types of marble in earthy tones were selected for the flooring. Furniture and lighting from a range of manufacturers create a distinctive interior, complemented by bespoke pieces designed exclusively for the residence. The Italian kitchen features a Corian worktop and taps with a period-inspired character.

The lower living room combines Chesterfield sofas, dark brushed oak flooring, a bespoke bookcase, and decorative oak ceiling beams. Throughout the interiors, substantial materials such as stone and timber convey a sense of relaxed luxury. Particular attention was given to the cellar, with custom-designed furniture and a material palette combining stone, aged brick, and oak.

The residence is heated through an underfloor system and cooled by hydronic fan coil units. Surplus energy from the solar thermal collectors supplements the heating demand. Once domestic hot water requirements have been met, an automated system stores excess thermal energy in a 1,000-litre buffer tank, which then supplies the underfloor heating circuit during winter. When the house is unoccupied and the main heating is switched off, the solar system automatically provides heat to the interior. During summer, when surplus energy is substantial, a dedicated fan coil unit dissipates the excess heat into the outdoor environment.
